I would come back for sure, no reason to complain. Quiet atmosphere, QUIET hotel, it has favourable location very close to New Zealand to date, beautiful mountains, and Glenorchy. The property offers amazingly comfortable, clean rooms with the bedroom and beautiful garden, for instance. The price is me$ 418.

The chalet at The Headwaters Eco Lodge was an absolute dream. The king size bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the ensuite bathroom with its walk-in rain shower felt so luxurious. The high quality linens and heated floors were the cherry on top. And let's not forget about the outdoor veranda – the perfect place to unwind and soak up the tranquillity. As someone who appreciates comfort and relaxation, I couldn't have asked for a better room.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the heated floors. While I understand that many people love them, I found them a bit too warm for my liking.

Fancy dinner option, beautiful location, eco-friendly concept impresses even though I don't understand it, friendly staff, and a big kitchen.
My solo stay made it 2x more expensive than other places, room looked funny, credit card fee, and empty hotel didn't save the environment apparently.

The chalet at The Headwaters Eco Lodge was like a cozy sanctuary. The king size bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the ensuite bathroom with the walk-in rain shower was pure luxury. The high quality linens made me feel pampered, and the heated floors were a delightful touch. I loved sitting on the outdoor veranda, simply soaking up the tranquillity of the surroundings. It was the perfect escape for a budget traveler like me.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the heated floors. But hey, that's just my preference.

I had only planned to stay one night, but the Headwaters Eco Lodge was so amazing that I rearranged my schedule to stay a second night. The 4 bed dorm was the best I've ever stayed in. The kitchen was fantastic, the toilet and shower block were immaculate, and the decor was quirky and functional. The concept of the place is environmentally friendly and self-sufficient. The staff were extremely helpful and well-informed on local attractions. this is a must-visit place with inspiring art and stories.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Wow! What a hidden gem! This place is absolutely amazing. I love how they have incorporated eco-friendly practices into every aspect of the lodge. The net zero set up is impressive and the technology used to run the lights and heating in the cabins is understated but effective. The camp kitchen is the best I've ever seen, equipped with everything you need and incredibly clean. The location is perfect, with stunning views all around. And to top it off, the complementary buffet breakfast is simple but of high quality. Such attention to detail in the decor too. This is definitely a unique and future-focused place to stay.
While my overall experience was great, there were a few minor drawbacks. the price was on the higher side compared to other places I've stayed at.
